creation_origin records how each exact content version was created—for example, by Builder AI, manual Builder editing, Content Engine AI, or an API import. The backend sets it automatically from trusted workflow evidence, so the browser cannot falsely label content. This lets the audit endpoint distinguish steps that genuinely did not apply from evidence that should exist but is missing. Existing ambiguous content remains marked unknown rather than guessed.
